Makeup Haul

I received a bunch of new beauty products over the past few days and I am so satisfied with them!

Missha products from my mom's cousin! She always gives me beauty products I like. Last time, she gave me a limited edition Shu Uemura makeup bag, nail polish and lip gloss by the same brand. All the things she gives me are pink lol!

Anyway, I am digressing. The Sheer Fluid Blusher works really well. A little goes a long way. A dot sized amount can cover one side of the face. I put it on my cheekbones and it seems to highlight and lift that part of my face. It is not too pigmented which is good. It is a light pink tint.

The lip stick is like a pigmented chapstick. Unlike most lipsticks, it provides both moisture and color. Apply one coat for a sheer color or more to have a more vibrant color. It is also more long lasting than the other lip colors I use c:

This is the Crown Brush 88 Eyeshadow palette I got from Groupon for $10. For such a cheap price I did not expect it to be that great but I was very happy with it. There is an eclectic range of warm colors from navy blue to purple to brown.

The eyeshadow takes a few applications to have a vibrant color but that's good so the color won't come as too strong as I would like. I can just add more color if I need to. The thing I like most is that it doesn't fade or crease. Before using this palette, I used the one from Sephora. The color is suuupperrr pigmented but it then fades over time and it creases.

My makeup look with the new products I used!

Today, I purchased a face scrub called "Angels on Bare Skin" by LUSH. My friend, Sam let me try hers beforehand and it was great! I have terrible dry skin in the winter that it flakes like crazy especially after washing my face or putting on makeup. When I use this scrub, it exfoliates all the skin and leaves my face dead skin free and super soft (like angels on bare skin)!

A 0.25lb contain can last for six months since only a dime sized amount is needed. I got it for $15.75 which is worth the price ^_^

That's all the products for now; I was going to get a concealer but maybe I'll buy it tomorrow. I have to toss out my old concealers and foundation that I'm using because I think they are breaking me out :(

Lash extensions

It's been nearly two months since I've had my lash extensionsMy lashes aren't as visible now because most of them fell.

Before (12/11/13):

 After two months:

Some lashes are longer than others because the real lashes are growing out. You can see gaps between my lashes.

Having lash extensions can be a nuisance especially for those who wear glasses (aka me). The long lashes make it difficult to wear glasses since it pokes the lens.
 Also, you can't wet your lashes or the glue will wear off. You can't touch it or pick at it either. For the first three weeks, I was completely careful but after that I didn't even care anymore.

Regardless, they still stayed on so I'm surprised. I didn't expect them to stay on for more than two weeks! =w=)b

Shiseido Eudermine Revitalizing Essence

[source]

This small bottle is basically a toner. It smells great and removes oil, dirt, and makeup. It also makes your skin really smooth!

Some people say that the toner makes them break out especially on their forehead but that has never happened to me and I break out really, really easily.

Although this product is great, it is too expensive. Prices range from $56 to $70! Too pricey for such a small bottle. I finished it in two weeks. Thankfully I received this as a sample.

*blink blink* ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

I went to Essential Spa to get eyelash extensions. I've been wanting them for a very long time ;3;

My new eyelashes! I look gawjuss~

haha jk c:

Before pic; I would curl and put mascara on my lashes but as you can see, you can still barely see them. They are very short u__u;;

My appointment was at 5pm. I had a Groupon deal that I could have my lashes done for only $45 instead of the original price of $165 c:

It was a fairly clean building. It's probably a new business since there were no reviews at Yelp. (Source)

Got my lashes done in this room. It was so peaceful since there is only one bed and there was nature music playing. I fell asleep lolol (Source)
The lady removed my eyemakeup and then she stuck an eyelash on my natural ones one by one. So much patience ;3; I chose the thick ones because I like a dramatic look. It still looks pretty natural to me though.

After 1.5 hours, my lashes are done! I'm quite satisfied with them; I think the lady did a good job (if only she didn't keep pointing out how horrible my skin was, she would have done a great job lol).

Lash extensions will not harm your natural lashes. The extensions will fall out on their own when the natural lashes grow out.

Not wearing any eye makeup except for nude-colored eyeshadow! I feel like the lashes change my look :b

I was guaranteed that they will last for about one month if I take care of them well. I can't wet them (meaning showering would be a pain in the ass), touch them, or wear a lot of eye makeup.

It is a pain wear glasses with the lashes because they are too long. If I push my glasses up, I kinda mess up to lashes :C So they sit on my nose now sighh. It's very uncomfortable but beauty is pain...and if only I wasn't blind as a bat lml I might start wearing contacts at home lol :L

I was sleeping and I brushed my hand against my lashes during my sleep. I woke up immediately and freaked out.

I thought I would get ready for school a lot quicker now that I don't need to put on eye makeup but I was just as late lol u__u;

Anyway, I'm typing this entry with glasses resting on the tip of my nose. It's killing me.

But would I make an appointment to get a lash extension touch-up? Probably. I can get used to this~

New skincare regime~

I've decided to start a new skincare routine because the products I've used in the past did not work at all. What a waste of money =A=;;

I discovered that I have an extra bottle of this baby at home:

I love this product because it is the one that gave me clear skin from the start. It is a gel that removes dead skin cells. Your skin will peel off like eraser shavings and soon your skin would be free from blemishes and blackheads.

It is extremely difficult to get rid of blackheads so this product is amazing!
I started to break out again because I ran out of this bottle but I'm so glad that I have two more bottles of this! ^0^

I've also started applying this every night. It is only $5 and it works! 10% benzoyl peroxide is the only ingredient in acne medication that can combat breakouts for me. Salicyclic acid doesn't do shiet.

I am also drinking more liquids. My goal is four water bottles a day or at least five cups of tea~ I really dislike water though because it is so bland and tasteless :(

Two days into my new routine, my forehead is almost clear and I can see improvement. My deadline for my goal of achieving clear skin is a month from now but I want to see if I can achieve it by the end of this week (I doubt it though u__u;;)
