Happy Anniversary~

Today is Colin and I's two year anniversary!

We first went to watch the movie, Get Hard; it was hilarious! It is one of the few movies that made me laugh that hard in the theater :')

We brought mad snacks with us and I also brought my cakes from Lady M lol. I had a feeling people were staring when I was eating it at the theater lmaoo

When the movie was over, it was around 9pm and we went to 99 Flavor Taste for dinner afterwards. We went to the location at Chinatown because their service is better than the one at 8 Avenue (the servers at that location kept staring at us, very rude -_-). 

I thought it would be extremely packed since it is always that way but it was fairly empty since it was 10pm when we got there.

We ordered a lot of meat; it was delicious as usual c: 

The dinner was really good and we were given two sticks of gym afterwards! The other location didn't give us anything -_-

I got home around 12am lol  :O

Well, that was our night! We've been through a lot during those two years but we made it! <3

Valentine's Day with my Love ❤

For Valentine's Day, Colin and I had dinner at MIKA Japanese Cuisine & Bar.

I had a Groupon which offered two hot sakes, one appetizer, two regular rolls and two special rolls for a price of $29. The offer is already prepaid (by my mom c:) so we just pay for the tip.

I made reservations at 5:30pm but we were 30 minutes late lol! When we got there, the restaurant was empty; no wonder the lady laughed when I told her we had a reservation lmaoo

 

Hot Sake:- 

The last time I went to this place, they gave us two sake bottles instead of one. One was actually enough though. I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it because like three years ago I had a sip (more like a lick) and I got dizzy lol! But I was fine when I drank it; well I got a bit tipsy haha

  

I was so amazed when our sushi arrived! They normally put it on separate plain plates but maybe because it is Valentine's Day, they displayed it such a manner.

Colin wanted to see if I knew him well enough so I chose the rolls. I ordered:

• Philadelphia roll (my favorite)
• some salmon roll I forgot the name lol
• White Dragon roll
• Rainbow roll 

He said I did a good job choosing them hah. The dinner was my treat since it would be my Valentine's Day gift to him ^u^

 

My outfit for the night! I just dressed semi-casual and dolled myself up with accessories. Comfort is key!

The evening was still young so we decided to catch a movie. The movies released this month was terrible. Fifty Shades of Gray had a 3.8 rating LOL well it's bound to be bad.

We decided to watch The Imitation Game at the BAM Theater. Since the movie starts at 9:45pm, we had an hour to kill so we got Starbucks, Colin's treat :)

 

The movie was fantastic; I have to admit some bits were boring but it was pretty good for a biography. I absolutely loved the soundtrack; it was stuck in my mind for the whole night.

 

Although the movie was great, the seats in the theater were so uncomfortable. They weren't the seats that supported your head. It is like the seats in my lecture hall. I'm guessing it is that way because it is an old theater especially that their trailers are from 90's movies and they played eerie music lolol

 

My makeup look for the night; it looks the same as my everyday makeup but I used a sample of this BB cream I got and I wore pink sparkly eyeshadow teehee c:

In conclusion, I had a pretty great day ^_^

2015!

Happy New Year everyone! 

I spent the first day of the year with Colin. This is my first time spending New Year's with a significant other c:

We were planning to go to Prospect Park to see fireworks with his friends. I met up with him first. It was so cold outside esp. since I had to wait for him outside his place for 15 minutes :( He couldn't find his camera asdfjk but it's okay I got my phone.

 

Group pic! We waited so long to take a photo at this spot. I wanted to take a pic of Colin and myself there too since I wanted a new profile pic for a long time but people were waiting.

I don't understand why people take so long for photos. Like how selfish how they get, spending five minutes taking the same pic when clearly there are several people waiting for their turn. For us, we just snapped two pics and left. So simple and quick!

Also, there was a couple who just went under the lights to make out. wtf??? Go pda somewhere else!

Maybe I need to take more psychology courses to explain the reasoning of a human's selfish actions but that shit got me mad tight  *is an impatient person*

 

We decided to go to the same spot when the fireworks is over but here were too many people so we had to take the pics in front of everyone else *sigh*

It was very cold outside by the way. My body wouldn't stop shivering and my teeth would stop clattering D:

We went to Union Square afterwards to eat and use the bathroom. We headed home afterwards since i was like 3AM. I wanted to sleep over at Colin's place but my mom said no. Like I bet I'll be 30 years old and my mom will still not let me sleep over at people's houses goddamn.

The next morning, I went to my aunt's house to have a New Years dinner with everyone. We had linguini and meatloaf. It was aiight~

I wonder how this new year would be like. It's not starting very well. 2014 was shitty.

I'm making some goals along the way:

• Work out more (please let me have a big butt this year!! >.<)
• Study my hardest in school (please have at least 3.5 GPA!)
• Clean my room at least once a week
• Eat more and stop skipping meals because I'm too lazy to make food

That's all I have for now I guess. Last year my only resolution was to not take shit from anyone and I did accomplish that although it has turned me into a bitch but I don't really care. I realized that some people make it incredibly hard for you to be patient with them.

I feel like as I grow older, the new year does not hype me as much lol :d

Colin bought me this dress last year! The dress and the cardigan is from Forever21

Colin got me a watch for Christmas. I loved it; I finally have a watch! My present for him is nowhere as good as his (a sweater and a pair of socks lol) but he said he liked it so :/   

 

 

We watched The Interview on Youtube for $5.99. 

It was racist but so hilarious! Even Colin laughed and he rarely laughs at comedy movies. 

I can't believe this movie got a 9.0/10 rating on IMDb though (probably because of the controversy lmao).

Afterwards, we went to Dallas BBQ for dinner. It just opened at the junction like last month and we've been planning to try that place out for awhile. It's kinda weird how I've been in the area for like five years and so many things around me have changed (new bus stops, new stores, new restaurants, etc).  *cough* gentrification

  I thought it would be extremely crowded and we would have to wait like 30 minutes for seating but we got seated immediately.

We ordered pina coladas for drinks! Colin got mango flavored and I got peach. The server didn't ask us for ID since the drinks have champagne in it (phew lol)

My drink was good except it had more alcohol than Colin's lol. I couldn't really taste the peach :d

 

I gave him my cherries because I dislike and is allergic to them (well dark cherries though idk about red ones)

 

 Our meal! He got steak and shrimp. I got chicken with honey sauce and corn bread. The sauce was a bit too sweet but I managed to finish most of the meal (which I normally don't lolol)

Since it was Christmas, they gave us complementary pumpkin spice mini cupcakes! Idk why pumpkin spice = winter like almost all the food related to cold weather is pumpkin spice like chilll~~~

And that concludes our holiday! Merry Christmas ^_^

sleepover w/ bae!

My parents went on vacation so Colin slept over for two weekends!

On the first weekend, we watched White Chicks and he helped me with my chemistry homework LOL

White Chicks is officially my favorite movie.

He also did my makeup lol! "What's blush?"

On the second weekend, Colin bought some beer and chinese takeout. We watched Borat, some parts of 40-year old Virgin and some parts of The Thing. The Thing was supposed to be a horror movie but it was really boring tbh and I'm a pussy when it comes to scary things lool

But Borat is so fucking hilarious! I LOVE IT.

Since my parents were coming home the next morning, we woke up early and hit the gym. 

It was gooood~ I love spending the night with him although he snores a lot and often talks in his sleep ;n;

Weekend with the bae

I spent last weekend camping with Colin and his friends at the Poconos! 

It was my first time camping and I wasn't much of a nature person but I adjusted quickly. Ex: I peed in the woods for the first time (It was so difficult and weird the first time but by the third day I had no shame peeing in front of him lol!) 

This was where we stayed. I honestly thought it would be a house. I had no idea we were literally camping lool

Colin just said that the place was in the woods ;3;

The place was pretty big inside. There are mattresses on each end of the trailer. They could be heated up at night! Colin and I slept on the right side. 

The area belonged to his friend. Her dad built this boardwalk and the guys skipped stones down the river. We saw frogs, tadpoles and water spiders.

It was extremely cold on the first day so we literally sat around the campfire the entire day. The campfire looks so empty in this photo but by the last day, it was surrounded by empty beer bottles lool

 Night time rolled around and the first evening was a disaster. The generator wouldn't work (meaning no electricity or heat), coals weren't heating up (meaning no burgers), we couldn't find my friend's keys, and moths flew into the trailer. 

Basically everything that could go wrong went wrong but it miraculously was fixed within an hour! The generator finally started and we heated our mattresses for the night, we had burgers for dinner and Colin killed the moths ☺

Campfire nights ♥ The stars looked amazing. It is not a sight that could be seen in NYC since the city lights wash away the sky. Colin saw a shooting star three times! And I saw none smfh.

The weather was a lot warmer on the second day. We played volleyball, basketball and some played soccer.  

I saw so many animals during the weekend. It was literally like those ecosystems I learned about from my biology textbook! I saw water spiders, frogs, tadpoles, birds (specifically a hawk), a caterpillar, a cricket, gnats, mosquitos, a bunny (for the first time! *0* ♥), and a cat who is named Bobo. He's so friendly! I think he's a stray but he came up to me and walked around my legs while I was walking back to the campsite ;3;

 The water was so clear and fresh but awfully cold! It's still nice to dip your feet in though c:

We finally packed our things to head back home. We went to a diner and then a mall beforehand. I had a pretty good time, we did literally everything together lol! ☺ (except when my meal I ordered at the diner was nothing what I expected...I literally felt like crying idk if it were my hormones or cus I was high but it was like the worst moment of the trip totally my fault though) ♥

Although I lived in NYC all my life, this is the first time at the Statue of Liberty. I went with Colin's step-brothers, sister and his dad. It was a very hot day and the place was crowded with people (mostly tourists I bet!)

Waiting for his dad to buy tickets! The line was so long, it literally wrapped around the entire park.

Kyon creeping on me. I thought he was shy at first but he really isn't. He gets lost all the time too! We nearly lost him at the park.

 I've never seen it this close before. There were so many people near it that it was difficult to snap a good picture BUT I DID ^

We had our faces drawn by some person. It took so long. I thought it was a caricature that would take two minutes but it took probably 30 minutes. And that doesn't even look like Colin! He looked white lol. I had to go home and revise it. Colin says he looks Mexican now lmao :(

After the trip, we went to Queens to see Colin's relatives. They were all very nice although I was a bit awkward since I'm not used to being introduced to a big group of people. I'm glad I met them though! Now, I just got to introduce him to my relatives.
