Poconos [DAY 2]

On the second day of our trip, we went to Camelback Ski Resort. Since I did not ski, I watched everyone's stuff. Sam, our bro and her dad went skiing while our moms went snow tubing.

Our moms went snow tubing which was a few miles away from the ski area. However, the line was too long so they came back with glazed waffles! 

 

It was really good esp. delicious since I was super hungry.

I ended up waiting for like six hours. I brought my 3DS to play pokemon but then I ended up taking a nap. I caught two legendary pokemon though! Well, Sam managed to catch a Laquaza with just an ultra ball which is near impossible and I caught a Deoxys with a master ball.

Finally, everyone came back from skiing and we went to an Italian restaurant (I forgot the name) for dinner.

 

I ordered a penne alla vodka. It was delicious; I finished it in minutes.

 

I quickly got hungry again later that night :((

 

Sam ordered a pizza. I forgot what it was called since it had a long as name but it had spinach and bacon toppings. It was pretty good; I never tried pizza with spinach before.

 

What a strange looking fork lol! I wonder what food it is used for.

 I had a terrible sleep that night. My mom is the LOUDEST snorer and Sam took most of the bed. The heater was loud and so was the bathroom. The people next door won't shut up. 

Like I was so frustrated. I woke up at 3am, then 5am...UGH. 

I can only sleep in complete silence and darkness. Like even the smallest of sounds such as a ticking of a clock can make me stay up the entire night.

Anyway, I woke up like a bitch in the morning since I barely slept and had a bad dream when I did. We went to the outlet again since our bros and Sam's dad didn't go there yet. I got a pair of Adidas and eight panties from Aerie (it was 8 for $26.50 plus 20% off and also I got a free tote that's worth $25! :D)

After shopping, we stopped at a McDonald's and then headed back to NYC.

Poconos [DAY 1]

I went to the Poconos with my fam and Sam's fam for the weekend! 

I didn't really want to go because I would not be skiing this winter. Normally, I go skiing with Sam and our bros every winter but my sprained ankle just healed so I didn't want to re-injure it again :/ (also I just simply didn't feel like it lol I dislike the cold!)

When we got to Pennsylvania, we stopped by Friendly's for brunch!

 

Sam with her salad. It is an entree but it is pretty filling since it has chicken in it. It also has apples which was peculiar. I never seen a salad with apples in it lol

 

I ordered the Turkey Delight (I think that's what it's called). This is like the perfect Thanksgiving dinner. They even have cranberry sauce! If you haven't tried turkey with it, you're missing out :p

 

I actually finished the whole plate. It was delicious (y)

After our meal, we went to get our rooms at Days Inn. I thought we would be spending our weekend at a lodge but it's cool I guess :d

 The room was the standard two bed and a bathroom. I hate it when rooms have the sinks out side of the bathroom. It's gonna be so loud when people brush their teeth -_-

 

After checking in our rooms, my mom drove our bros and Sam's dad to go skiing at Camelback Ski Resort so we can head to the outlet afterwards. We did some camerawhoring while waiting lolol

Sam got a clip-on camera legs that is like a reverse magnifying glass. It zooms out the lens which is why we look so far away- p cool huh. My mom also gave her a tripod for an iPhone.

Turns out the outlet we are going to was the outlet I went with Colin and his friends when we went camping in the summer.  We didn't really shop that time because we arrived when it was almost closing time. 

The place was a lot bigger than we expected to be. It had a Forever21 and a Pacsun! There were amazing sales in literally every store even the designer brand ones (like 70% off in Coach). Their sales are better than the ones on Black Friday lol!

I bought a pair of high-waist jeans and joggers from Pacsun! The store was buy one get one free. I also bought some aesthetic socks from Charlotte Rousee (20% off socks or something lol)

After shopping for like four hours, we went back to pick up the guys from skiing. We went to Barley Creek Brewing Company for dinner. They brew their own beer!

 

We had to wait 20 minutes for seating lol but time went by quickly!

 

Beer cheese soup! I saw that on the menu and just had to try it. It tastes like regular soup. They probably had that name to attract customers so they got me :/ It's still yummy tho

I ordered mac and cheese. I rarely eat this (elementary school lunch ruined it for me) but this is baked with five different types of cheese. It looks and tastes good! 

 We went back to the inn after dinner. It was freezing outside! It's like I lost all my body heat the moment I stepped out of the pub goddamn lol

We got back to our rooms and Sam used to shower. There was a spider in the bath tub wtf! She ran our of the bathroom in her towel cus of that. I was like damn you done already so fast! But nah there's a spider :((

I showered afterwards. Good thing I didn't shower first or I'll totally trip lol! Sam let me use her face scrub and face wash. It instantly made my face soft since I have been combating dry skin since the cold season started. Afterwards I used her charcoal mask since it cleanses the pores.

 

Lolol I look so creepy but my skin is so soft (it still is). I need to get that scrub. It's called Angels on Bare Skin by LUSH. Sam says it's $20.

I washed the mask after 20 minutes, played some pokemon on my 3DS and went to sleep. I slept well that night.

Weekend with the bae

I spent last weekend camping with Colin and his friends at the Poconos! 

It was my first time camping and I wasn't much of a nature person but I adjusted quickly. Ex: I peed in the woods for the first time (It was so difficult and weird the first time but by the third day I had no shame peeing in front of him lol!) 

This was where we stayed. I honestly thought it would be a house. I had no idea we were literally camping lool

Colin just said that the place was in the woods ;3;

The place was pretty big inside. There are mattresses on each end of the trailer. They could be heated up at night! Colin and I slept on the right side. 

The area belonged to his friend. Her dad built this boardwalk and the guys skipped stones down the river. We saw frogs, tadpoles and water spiders.

It was extremely cold on the first day so we literally sat around the campfire the entire day. The campfire looks so empty in this photo but by the last day, it was surrounded by empty beer bottles lool

 Night time rolled around and the first evening was a disaster. The generator wouldn't work (meaning no electricity or heat), coals weren't heating up (meaning no burgers), we couldn't find my friend's keys, and moths flew into the trailer. 

Basically everything that could go wrong went wrong but it miraculously was fixed within an hour! The generator finally started and we heated our mattresses for the night, we had burgers for dinner and Colin killed the moths ☺

Campfire nights ♥ The stars looked amazing. It is not a sight that could be seen in NYC since the city lights wash away the sky. Colin saw a shooting star three times! And I saw none smfh.

The weather was a lot warmer on the second day. We played volleyball, basketball and some played soccer.  

I saw so many animals during the weekend. It was literally like those ecosystems I learned about from my biology textbook! I saw water spiders, frogs, tadpoles, birds (specifically a hawk), a caterpillar, a cricket, gnats, mosquitos, a bunny (for the first time! *0* ♥), and a cat who is named Bobo. He's so friendly! I think he's a stray but he came up to me and walked around my legs while I was walking back to the campsite ;3;

 The water was so clear and fresh but awfully cold! It's still nice to dip your feet in though c:

We finally packed our things to head back home. We went to a diner and then a mall beforehand. I had a pretty good time, we did literally everything together lol! ☺ (except when my meal I ordered at the diner was nothing what I expected...I literally felt like crying idk if it were my hormones or cus I was high but it was like the worst moment of the trip totally my fault though) ♥

Although I lived in NYC all my life, this is the first time at the Statue of Liberty. I went with Colin's step-brothers, sister and his dad. It was a very hot day and the place was crowded with people (mostly tourists I bet!)

Waiting for his dad to buy tickets! The line was so long, it literally wrapped around the entire park.

Kyon creeping on me. I thought he was shy at first but he really isn't. He gets lost all the time too! We nearly lost him at the park.

 I've never seen it this close before. There were so many people near it that it was difficult to snap a good picture BUT I DID ^

We had our faces drawn by some person. It took so long. I thought it was a caricature that would take two minutes but it took probably 30 minutes. And that doesn't even look like Colin! He looked white lol. I had to go home and revise it. Colin says he looks Mexican now lmao :(

After the trip, we went to Queens to see Colin's relatives. They were all very nice although I was a bit awkward since I'm not used to being introduced to a big group of people. I'm glad I met them though! Now, I just got to introduce him to my relatives.

Hurricane Harbor w da bae

Colin and I have been working out a lot lately for this day! We planned to go to the waterpark since it's getting pretty hot.

We took the NJ Transit bus from Port Authority and the shuttle bus there. It's so convenient!

We're not allowed to bring food/drinks but we managed (well I managed since I was the one doing the smuggling lol) to sneak in four snack bars and a bag of sour patch lol!

We went on every waterslide except for the flying carpet and the wave pool because the park was going to close :c There are only nine slides though. I really wanted to go to the wave pool though /cries

I have never went on the slides with no tube in my entire life and this is the first time.

Colin made me go to the green one first omg...I screamed so loud LOL and my right contact fell out due to the impact of the water.

This is actually one of my favorite rides. You go down a slide and there's a drop and after that you travel down a funnel.

I love rides like these, it's like I'm being flushed down a toilet lololol

In this ride, two people could go at the same time so Colin and I raced. It's like there are two slides so it's not like we'll bump to each other.

After that you drop into the head of the cobra and you just slide (kinda like the swinging ship ride).

I also liked the Lazy River. Colin and I just chilled on the double tube; it was very relaxing other than the crazy kids ☺

We kinda felt like crap after eating the park's food. We think they put something in the food that makes people become full easily. Colin ate like half a pizza and he got full already. After I ate, I felt so full and bloated. There were many times I thought I was going to throw up on the rides :c

The park closed at 7pm which was really early but we just took the bus back and got back to NYC at 9pm so maybe it was a good idea to leave that early.

Taking pics with him is like taking pics with a toddler: never stays still and always makes faces =p=;;

Since we were both tired and it was getting late, Colin asked to sleep over at his house. My mom didn't let which pissed me off because I really wanted to go (I brought my glasses too so it was perfect).

Anyway, I got a nice tan and a bug bite but the day was pretty fun! ♥
