To the beach!

I went to the beach again with Sam and her friends. I spent most of the time sun bathing while they played volleyball lol

Friends for so long, she thought we were cousins until two years ago lmaoo

The weather was pretty cool to go to the beach. I only went in the water once. Why must this summer be so cold? :(

Today's my first time at the beach this year! Sam and I invited our friends but they were all busy so it's just us two again. I feel like I'm meant to only hang out with her ;3; ♥

My new bikini! 

I wore a super push up bikini top last summer and it gave me so many nipslips because my chest is so small u_u

I got this from Old Navy. The bottoms was not my favorite...sometimes it makes me look like I'm wearing a diaper.

I bought some snacks and met up with Sam at her place and then we're off to the beach!

We both forgot our drinks. Thankfully, Sam packed two ice tea boxes. I later bought a water bottle for $2 ugh so expensive but it was cold the entire time until we left the beach.

Nothing like a good Stephen King book! It's my first book by this author and it's pretty good although the beginning is a bit slow. What is it about the extinction of our kind that turns us on so much??

I read a few pages until I realized I've been getting tanning oil on some pages ughh

I'm very sad but I have myself to blame for being so lazy. I'm just not used to eating a lot :c

We stayed for three hours. I honestly don't think I've gotten that tan even though I used tanning oil. hmm :/

Today was the perfect beach weather. It wasn't too hot nor too cold. I had a great time c: ♥

Colin and I finally went to the beach after months of talking and planning. However, plans were always canceled because busy schedules and bad weather :C

But we are finally here! I’ve always wanted to go to the beach with him. The sky was cloudy in the morning and I feared it would rain but it was really sunny later in the day :b

Put sunscreen on Colin and I barely put any on myself(I did not care to lol) Because of that, almost my entire body is sunburned- face, arms, back, parts of legs :C *cries*

The day grew hotter but I had a lot of fun. I enjoy giving Colin piggy-back rides and carrying him bridal-style in the water LOL

I then realized that I was late for my SAT prep so Colin walked me to the train station. I was an hour late lolol! 

Despite looking like a tomato, I had a lot of fun~! ^w^

(7.4.13) Puerto Plata, Dominican Rep. [DAY 5]

It was our last day here and I desperately wanted to stay longer :C So sad *cries*

We walked on the beach for the last time. I’m really going to miss this place u__u;;

The morning was such a rush with the packing and everything. I was getting so pissed off. 

Finally got to the airport after all the pressure and rush. Ugh.. we waited for a long time at the airport. It also began to rain really hard. But it usually rains for like five minutes and then it’s sunny again.

As we were at the immigration center, there was a blackout at the airport. The lights turned on shortly afterwards but it turned off AGAIN. The lights kept flickering on and off in two minute intervals until it stayed on for good lol.

Went to the gift shop while waiting to board on the plane. I’ve never seen cigarette companies preventing people not to smoke while trying to sell their products!

We arrived back to the United States after four hours of flight. It was boring and uncomfortable as usual. Why must a baby always sit behind me? 

Anyway, we went to a Chinese restaurant for dinner.

Bottom line: I would give Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort and Spa 5 out of 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

No, I’ll give it a million stars because it is just that wonderful! The shows were amazing and all the staff there were extremely nice! ^u^ 

The food was pretty delicious as well. Everyone was kind right to the point when they dropped us off at the airport and said farewell.

Maybe they are partially the reason why I will miss that place haha~ ♥

(7.3.13) Puerto Plata, Dominican Rep. [DAY 4]

It was a peculiar yet extremely interesting day. I have never been hit on so many times before lol! 

We reserved a the top bunk of the bunk bed on the beach for the day. I liked the swinging beds better :b

They don’t check for ID so I tried brandy and rum for the first time. I don’t understand why adults love to drink so much cus alcohol tastes like shiet D;

I remember I looked outside from the bunk bed and I saw the server who called me barbie again. He waved and called me barbie lolol! He asked me if I wanted a drink and I declined again.

I was going to ask him for a drink later on but I couldn’t find him afterwards :c I was gonna leave him a good tip too LOL

Sam didn’t want her face in the photo lolol. We ordered another drink! We gave the server a $2 tip. He served us the whole day even though other servers could have served us too.

We went back to our room. This is our view from the balcony. It’s always peaceful~

Sam wanted to get a henna tattoo so we went by the poolside where they were making the tattoos.

I sat next to her and waited until it was done.

From a distance, I saw the guy from the Jacuzzi (from my previous entry). He was with a bunch of guys who were the staff at the resort. He winked at me. The group of guys then motioned me to come to them.

ONE EVEN WAS LIKE…I CAN’T EVEN.

But anyway, I declined but they insisted. Like GURLL I GOT A MAN. I got up to leave Sam because it was getting too awkward when that guy from the Jacuzzi came up to me.

I didn’t know he was the guy from yesterday until I saw his tattoos lol. But we chatted for bit. He was from NYC as well and he asked me where I’m from, my age…etc. He wished I stayed longer cus he wanted to know me better.

I dislike it so much when people fetish-size a race. He thought I was Korean but I told him I was Chinese. He said I was a beautiful Chinese woman and I was adorable. But why must he add “Chinese” when complimenting me?

When I told him I was 17, he turned his head and was like “oh woww i would’ve fucked you so bad”

That was my cue to leave so I had to ditch Sam and lied I had to go back to the beach.

Spotted a “Wal-Mart” while waiting until Sam came back. 

The server that served us this morning came up to my bunk and asked if I wanted a drink I declined. When Sam came back, he came up again.

He asked if we’re sisters, where we were from and he thought we were Japanese. No one thinks about Chinese /sobsob

It was our last full day here so Sam and I went to the Jacuzzi again. Thankfully, there was not a lot of people there. I was not in the mood to talk to anymore strangers. :I

The beach was closing and Sam wouldn’t leave so I ditched her (♥) and went back to my bunk. 

Apparently, the “pretending-to-text-on-your-phone-when-you-see-someone-you-dont-want-to-talk-to” doesn’t work here ;u;

I saw the same server near me so I looked at my phone but he came up to me and asked if I will be here tomorrow. I said no and he was sad. We chatted for awhile until Sam finally came lol.

Changed into a dress for dinner since it’s our last night in Puerto Plata (unfortunately :c)

Sam and I walked around the resort for the last night and packed for our last day tomorrow~

(7.2.13) Puerto Plata, Dominican Rep. [DAY 3]

Another day at the beach! I felt the vacation getting tedious at first because all Sam and I did so far was swim in the pool or lay in the beach.

All I do at the beach is check my phone since it’s the only place with wifi. So ironic lol!

It is sunny everyday! If it rains, it only rains for like five minutes.

I am in love with the ocean in Puerto Plata ♥ I have never seen an ocean so blue and beautiful *sighss*

Our bed for the day- it swings!

We went to the Jacuzzi and chatted for awhile. It was so relaxing! When I  was getting out, a guy whispered,

"You’re so pretty. God bless you." 

I wasn’t sure if he was talking to me so I’m like,

"…wat"

And I turned to see him and he winked at me lool. He was covered in tattoos but that was how I recognized him later on. More about him on my next entry. It is interesting I have to say! I told Colin about it and he cracked up lol!

Another interesting story!

Remember the server who called me a barbie in the previous entry? I met him again on the beach. I did not recognize him but apparently he remembered me. He asked me if I wanted a drink again but I politely declined.

I was about to doze off since Sam was next to me tanning when I opened my eyes and I see him in right front of me. He was bending down and asked if I wanted a drink again LOLOL But I politely declined u__u;;

Thinking back, I think he came up to me several times saying I should get a drink cus all I do is sit there and do nothing lol! Maybe he just wants a tip ;u;

Dinner at an Asian themed restaurant! Sushi boat for an appetizer. The food was all right :T

Ugh, I acquired eight mosquito bites that day. It seriously ruined my day, I was in so much pain :C

(7.1.13) Puerto Plata, Dominican Rep. [DAY 2] ✿

I could not wait to get to the beach. THE OCEAN IS SO BEAUTIFUL. Back in the city, the ocean is gray. Maybe on good days, it is somewhat blue.

But at Puerto Plata, the ocean is different shades of blue from a sea green to a deep blue. ASHDLKJH ugh I was profound by the sight!

We were walking to the beach and I happened to have Sam in the shot lol.

We go down those stairs from the previous photo and there is a “beach” full of beds: bunk beds, swing beds, and regular beds. There is also a Jacuzzi. You look out from the balcony to see the ocean. So relaxing!

Servers serve you drinks and foods. You don’t have to pay for anything but it’s nice to leave a tip! The staff were extremely nice and welcoming ^w^

You go down another flight of stairs and it will lead to the beach. It’s so clean T^T)9 ♥

Ironically, there was no wifi anywhere else at the resort except the beach LOL. Another reason why I loved spending time there! :D

I was fixing the curtains on our bed. They were flying everywhere because of the wind D:

Colin makes me feel like I have a huge ass but then I look at myself and I realized my butt isn’t that big after all :C

We left the beach to have lunch. Doesn’t this look delicious? *drools*

We went back to our room to chill because it was wayy too hot. I changed out of my bikini.

Ootd! I had no idea how short my shorts were lol. Whatevahhs~

We went back to the beach and Sam fell asleep on one of the beds. I just chilled on another waiting for her to wake up.

It was so hot I had to take off my blouse. No one could tell I’m wearing a bra mwahaha (I think :d).

She finally woke up and went to my bed. I put my shirt back on when we were about to leave.

A guy came up to us and asked if we wanted him to take a picture of us with my phone since he saw me struggle with my camerawhoring lol! I was scared he would take off with my phone but ;u; This was one of the pics~

A while later, a server came up to us and said I looked like a barbie LOL. He asked if I wanted a drink and I said politely declined (because I didn’t feel like tipping anyone lol). He will appear more in my new few entries. Pretty hilarious! ;D

We had authentic Dominican food for dinner. It was pretty good, I loved the rice ^w^  The dessert was shaved coconut.

I don’t really remember what happened after that but I think we just went back to our rooms and had girl talk lolol c:
