Christmas Eve

 

I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas for the first time. It was a good movie except for the fact that Netflix kept buffering and lagging halfway through the movie :/

 At 7:30pm, I had dinner w the fam at my fav Chinese restaurant. We got mad expensive dishes that we eat like once in a blue moon :3

 I love Peking Duck bruh

 

For dessert, we had sao bao and red bean soup. The bun looks like a butt lol

Anyway, we sat for like three hours in the restaurant. It didn't even seem like it! We waited for my aunt and my baby cousins to comeat 9pm so we ate appetizers before that but damn we sat as long as we would've sat on the way to Pennsylvania lmaoo. We left at like 10pm though.

After that, we had cake at my Aunt's house since it was also my grandpa's 80th birthday. Then we took a family photo with everyone in it. One person would set the camera on timer while we all gathered in the living room and the camera would take the pic. We used to do this every Christmas until my grandma died six years ago. This is the first time since then and it was nice to feel that close family vibe again :)

I'm pretty satisfied with what I got since I didn't ask for much (or rather I didn't give anyone a wishlist lol)

 It was really nice spending time with all my relatives because there's always this fulling feeling of family since I never really experienced it with my own family. Anyway, it was a good day~

Unwrapped Christmas presents on New Year's; mad late right lolol

 Celebrated our belated Christmas at our aunt's house. It's a real pine tree

Uncle was the chef! Delicious especially the mashed potatoes. It's the best mashed potatoes I have tasted in my life. It's so good, gravy would only ruin the taste! *0*

The day was pretty boring. My relatives just talked and stuff I don't even know lol... I forgot my 3DS at home. At least I was allowed to have alcohol and I drank (no one stopped me ;u;) until it was finally time to eat. The best part was the presents; I received a lot of great ones! And I gave my parents presents for the first time c:

When my relatives saw me, they're like "ohh you look so different!" "your face got fatter" etc etc. Maybe I should start working out and I should work on my appearance more since I'm still not satisfied. 

Hate how my family criticizes my looks but then they said I don't need plastic surgery???

☃ Ski Trip (PART 2)

Extremely tired after several hours of skiing, we came back to the lodge with a table full of delicious food ♥

They were mostly chicken wings (of different flavors), sandwiches and french fries. 

Our moms bought it from the restaurant in the lodge before it closed. We had our feast in the lobby lolol

On Thursdays, martinis are half-off so our moms bought a few drinks for us!

S'mores (Smirnoff Marshmallow, Godiva Liqueur & Graham Cracker Rim) and Merry Mint Martini (Stoli Vanil, Green Creme de Menthe, White Creme de Cacao)

After that, Sam and I explored the lodge and took a few pics.

Guess what guys I found a book containing the secret of life!!

 Took one last selfie and then put on a facial mask and slept.

I was so exhausted but I barely had any sleep at all.

My mom's snores are fucking loud, idk how Sam slept through all this. She slept like a log lolol I felt bad since my stuffed animals and I took up most of the room on the bed :c

Next morning I was aching all over so I didn't ski with Sam.

I had lunch with my mom and Sam's mom while Sam went skiing.

I miraculously finished my pot roast sandwich. It was delicious though =w= ♥

After that we went back to the ski resort where I waited for Sam to finish skiing. I waited for four hours; extremely boring but I had my beats, a book Colin lent me and my 3DS so I was entertained :3

We went back to New York and ate dinner at a Chinese restaurant. When I got home, I realized I forgot my glasses back at the lodge -__-

I called the lodge and the manager was nice enough to mail the glasses back to me. I'm wearing my spare glasses for now.

I really like the place; the staff are nice, the environment is clean and the food is good! Also there is wifi

Anyway, I'm glad I'm back in New York =w= ♥

☃ Christmas Eve ❄ ❆

Colin and I went out to the city to see the Christmas lights! We first went to Downtown Brooklyn to go shop around but Colin couldn't find anything he liked.

It was really cold and we were hungry so Colin bought four slices of pizza for us. It was soo good~

We went to 34th st after that to shop around more.

It was extremely crowded; I swear, some people don't know how to walk.

The Empire State Building was even decorated for xmas! The tip looked like a candy cane lol!

I wanted to take pictures of Macy's windows because they decorate it beautifully every Christmas.

But I got to snap only one picture...

There were too many people crowding around the window. And some are selfish and stupid enough to stand in front of the window and block the entire view. What about the 20 other people crowding around to take the picture? How selfish can they be!

I gave up pissed and frustrated. 

sighh anyway, we went to Rockefeller Center. It was crowded too, but it was expected.

I go to Rockefeller Center every year. Even though I've seen this tree countless times, it's still beautiful ;3;

There is an ice skating rink below the tree. I don't understand why people would line up to skate there. There are so many other rinks in NYC that are a lot emptier than this one lml

Colin forgot his camera so I had to use my iPhone; the quality isn't that great though. We asked people to take a photos of us, everyone was very nice~

We headed back home because Colin's ankle started to hurt a lot (he broke it a few weeks ago but he can walk now).

He bought cookies at the Subway's outside my bus stop (sugar ones because it's our favorite c:) Then, he gave me a present. 

It's two sided! I almost cried because I really didn't expect anything from him since he wasn't a festive person. I felt so guilty because all I gave him was a shitty card and he did so much for me that day u__u;;
