Shopping date with Sam!

We were going to make a haul video of the things we bought but we ended up not buying anything except makeup u__u;;

We went to Forever21 and Urban Outfitters. There were so many nice clothes; I’m planning to change my style of clothing.

Then we went to Chipotle since Sam has never tried it before~

I couldn’t finish mine since I ate before I left the house *cries* We also forgot our water and were too cheap to buy drinks so we ate ice cubes LOL

Oh! And my encounter with this guy ahsjdlhkl. It practically made my day! There are so many attractive people in Soho ;u; I love NYC lol

Afterwards, we went to Goodwill to go thrifting! It was our first time so we couldn’t find anything we liked ;n; 

Then, we stopped by a makeup store where they sold NYX products. I found this perfect matte lip cream for only $6. I LOVE NYX. Their products have such good reviews yet so cheap! ♥ I also bought a concealer for just $5. 

Afterwards, we took the subway home.

Sam told me that we’re going to the Dominican Republic for the summer! My mom didn’t tell me about it yet so I didn’t really believe her (although I’m really excited c’:). A guy heard me fangirl about it and he joked about me not believing her LOL It was rather funny!

I love going to the city because it’s so exciting (while it can be boring sometimes) and strangers sometimes talk to you. They’re not even creepy (although some are so be careful lol). It makes your day less boring and I feel it makes me less socially awkward lol! ;u;

I went to Sam’s house afterwards and we chilled.

(Walking to her house. Sam’s limping because her heels are killing her. That’s what she gets for wearing them when we would be walking around a lot! :b)

Yesterday, I went to the city (at Union Square) with my valentine aka my mom ♥

We went to Whole Foods and got our delicious lunch.

(Chocolate and strawberry cheesecake! They are so cutee but they were a bit too sweet for me :c)

Afterwards, we got our nails done! The place was so nice and fancy. My finger nails is a dark shade of blue green. And my toes were a pale green C: Pumped up for spring! ♥

Then, we went to Strands bookstore. It was my first time there and it is now my favorite bookstore. There were books as low as $1-$2! There are all kinds of books: antiques, new arrivals, business, classics, etc. It is truly impeccable~

(The shelves are stacked so close together. It’s like I’m in a room filled with books).

My favorite part of the bookstore is the “Banned book section”. These wonderful books are banned by the dumbest reasons. A children’s picture book was banned in some schools because it “promotes homosexuality”. Like seriously? Absurd. 

And the books, Matilda and BFG by Roald Dahl were also banned in some schools. I’m so glad they can be found in this store!

In that section, I found one of my favorite reads, The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger. I’ve only read it once for school and I love it already.

I got the book for around $7. So happy~ ♥
