(6.30.13) Puerto Plata, Dominican Rep. [DAY 1]

Our first time going to the Dominican Republic and it was crazy !!

My first time on an airplane since I was three…nervous!

Watched Spongebob on the airplane until the free preview was over.

Take off! The view was impeccable. I love looking at the sky ;u; ♥

The flight was around three hours. It was so boring- I just listened to music and drank a Bloody Mary. There was a toddler who sat behind me and he kept kicking my seat. Kids like him are the reason why I’m doubting of having children in the future lol.

Landing! The country is so beautiful. I have never seen so many palm trees…or trees in general. The mountains are covered with trees too! 

We took the shuttle bus to our resort place called Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort and Spa. In my next few blog entries, I will tell (and show) you howabsolutely wonderful that place is. 

Upon arrival, we waited several hours to get our room. But the wait was worth it!

Sam and I had our own room. It had a balcony which was pretty great c: lol @ Sam bumming out!

There would be a party starting that night so we all went to check it out.

There were seats already set for everyone with relaxing music playing in the background. I loved the atmosphere, it was so peaceful ^u^

There were a lot of food served. I wanted to try all the foods I’ve never tried before. Thus, I had no idea what half the things on my plate were. Nonetheless, everything was extremely delicious! 

Sam please don’t kill me ;~;

When the sky turned dark, the party became live!

It was fucking amazing! There were these feather dancers, singers, musicians…ASDFHJAKL ;A;

What’s better than half naked guys dancing with fire?

It was mad crowded. I dislike crowds but dayum I loved those dancers =w=)b

Last but not least- fireworks! I was waiting for that part ;u;

Our outfits for the night! It was getting really late so Sam and I headed back in our room. 

I couldn’t wait for the next day~ ;u; ♥

(6.26.13) Prospect Park~

Yesterday was the last day of school. I went to get my report card and drop off Colin’s official transcript at the college office.

OMG I CAN’T BELIEVE I PASSED ALL MY CLASSES AND EXAMS. ESP PHYSICS. I FAILED THE CLASS TWICE AND EVERY TEST EXCEPT FOR TWO (my highest grade was a 73) AND I MANAGED TO PASS THE CLASS WITH A 70 IM SO HAPPY I LOVE MY TEACHER ♥

*cough* Anyway…

I met up with Colin at Prospect Park. I waited two hours for him cus he had to go to the doctor’s. Took fucking foreverrrr D;

We walked to a small meadow and settled down. So glad there weren’t a lot of people.

(We laid a bed sheet under this tree. It provided us a good shade but with lots of bugs. Too many flies and spiders have landed on me.)

(Because there were so little people, there were a lot of birds around us! So cute ^0^)

When we were on the bus on the way home, it just started to rain. Lucky~!

It was a pretty good day probably because of my report card lol

(6.24.13) To the beach w/ unshaven legs & armpits!

I planned to come to Sam’s house so we could make graphic tees but her friend, Bernice hit her up last minute to go to the beach!

I was totally unprepared: no bikini, unshaven legs for a month, hairy armpits LOL (well not that hairy :d)

I borrowed Sam’s bikni and flip flops. Dayumm my chest is so small ;n;

(Still going to the beach! I’ve been planning to go there soon anyway~)

(Our outfits! It looks like I’m wearing a nightgown but I wanted this dress from Uniqlo for a really long time ;u;)

We met up with Bernice and her friends. We just sat and chilled. Perfect beach weather, the sun was not shining on us so we didn’t need sunscreen!

(One of Bernice’s friends offered me this candy… Camel balls. It’s bubble gum but it really looked like the testicles of a camel. It was brown..I still ate it though lolol)

We heard thunder and it looked like it was about to rain so we packed our stuff up and left. We probably stayed for only an hour.

Nonetheless, it was pretty fun. So many cute gurls w/ nice bodies *w* I wanna go to the beach next time with my own bikini haha~

(6.15.13) Open Mic @ MOCA (｡･_･｡)σ

Yesterday, I went to an open mic with Sam and her friend, Bernice.

The event took place in the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) at Chinatown. It was hosted by the Teen Resource Center (TRC) which was where Bernice volunteers.

Anyway, the event consisted of teenagers. They sang, rapped, etc. Some were really good singers. Others… I couldn’t hold in my laughter sorry not sorry

Honestly, I just came for the food. Sam said there would be noodles so I’m like “hell yeah I’m going” but instead they gave us bread and water…and we were only limited to one piece of bread.

It’s like we’re prisoners u__u;; Sam said they served noodles last time lol

There was also an Anna Sui fashion exhibit occurring during the open mic. The pieces of work were impeccable!

After that, we said bye to Bernice. Sam and I decided to get some late night desserts at Hi-Tea Cafe.

It was getting really late so we decided to head home.

(Waiting for the bus. The streets were so empty. The bus took forever to come. I realized I didn’t have enough fare on my metrocard but the driver was nice enough to let me in ;u;)

So yeah that was my day! It was pretty fun but the open mic was a bit boring lol sorry not sorry came for the food

(6.12.13) Meetup w/ YouTuber Brittani Taylor! ♪~

Finally got to meet Sam after her three week vacation at Thailand and Hong Kong.

She bought me so many things from Thailand ;u; *cries tears of happiness*

(I’ve been looking for machine gun tights and kitten tights for so long. She also gave me facial masks, accessories and a romper ily ♥)

We went to Soho to shop. I wish I had more than $10 in my pocket since there were so many things I wanted to buy. We went to Uniqlo, Brandy Melville,Pacsun (THERE’S FINALLY ONE IN NYC), Victoria’s Secret, Pink, Forever21, and Elf (just opened!).

We went to the newly opened Elf store. I got my $3 foundation there lolol

We were getting hungry so we walked to St. Marks to get us $1 pizza.

It was almost time for the meetup for the Youtuber, Britanni Taylor at Union Square.There was already a crowd there!

(I feel like a creep taking pics of her but I can’t believe I saw her! She’s so tall ;u;) (We managed to get a pic with her! We were shy to ask at first but a girl encouraged us to go and pushed us closer to her. If it weren’t for her, we would have never gotten that photo. So yeah, thanks gurliee T^T dayumm I look like a fcking ghost lol Sam, if you make this your Facebook profile picture crop me out lol)

Brittani recorded the video of the crowd and took a group picture! I can’t wait to see the video ^u^

We went to Sephora afterwards. I did not know there was one at Union Square. It was pretty huge!

Anyway, we went home afterwards since I have the Physics regents exam to take the next day *Cries*

It was a pretty fun day! We’re going to the Dominican Republic in two weeks. Egg-cited! *w*
