Happy Halloween!

I didn't do much on Halloween but I did hang out with my homegirl Sam. We had Japanese food at a restaurant near my school.

She is a doe! Not many people knew who she was lol ;o;

I should have taken the pics of the food but I was too hungry and I wolfed the whole meal down (lol not really but I did finish all of it). We each had a bento box. I'm surprised that it's the same price as the ones back in Brooklyn. 

We went to Soho afterwards and window shopped around a few stores. I'm saving up for Black Friday. I actually have some things to buy! Afterwards we walked to Chinatown and chilled at a park.

We had dinner with my parents afterwards. It's Halloween but we didn't do any trick-or-treating although I bought a lot of candy (well my mom did): 

two bags of candy corn (they're so underrated; no one likes them cus they're so unhealthy but I ♥ them)

kit-kat

People think I got the candy for the trick-or-treaters but no...it's all for MEEEEEEE~

I'm back!

I know I keep saying I'll update this blog every day/week but a lot has been going on still. I'm still struggling to keep up with school and I don't know but I just feel so down lately.

I didn't have the motivation to anything except to sleep and watch anime. I'm trying to get back on track by blogging about my day more and working out. My waist gives an illusion that I have a big butt when I don't (well in my opinion). Because of that I feel so insecure.

For those who don't want to do squats, diamond leg lifts and hip thrusts are good glute exercises as well!

Anyway, I just had a chem exam today. I think it fucked me over but I don't even know.

(Love my lipstick but I dropped it at school. Like I heard something drop behind me but I didn't think it was from me :c)

Lately, random strangers come up to talk to me. And they always ask where I'm from.

Like do they think I'm not a US citizen b/c I'm Asian? Cus they look damn surprised when I tell then I'm born and raised in NYC. Bruh.

Kinda annoying rly.

And some men can be so creepy...staring at me on the bus like it's the last thing to do before they die. Not even my death glare would make them look away. They smirk as if it turns them on. Sick bastards.

The bad hair salon experience

I went to the hair salon to redye my roots, just a simple touch-up. I usually go to this salon because my late grandma's friend works there. She's a family friend so my family and relatives all go to that salon to get their hair did.

Anyway, the  manager dyed my hair for me because our family friend was busy. I don't think the manager knew what she was doing because next thing I knew my roots were BLONDE! Like the top of my head is yellow but the rest of it is brown.

Also, I asked for a touch-up and she dyed my whole head -_-

I knew something was wrong since the customers stared at me weirdly. But my family friend saw it and she managed to fix it. It still looked pretty light but at lot better.

My hair after it is dyed and curled. Some crazy lady in the streets yelled at me saying my hair color isn't my natural hair color.

Yat Yat Sweet!

I had dessert at Yat Yat Sweet after dinner at a Shanghai restaurant.

They have a wide range of dessert on the  menu such as soups, puddings, ice cream and bubble tea. They even have durian!

I got a crepe with bananas, strawberries and condensed milk as the sauce. It was really yummy!

 According to their page on Yelp, it has closed. I wonder why :(
