In the Land of the Dead, Stepping on the tail of a Rainbow

I had an extremely productive day with my friend, Diana. We first went to the Gagarian Gallery at Chelsea to see artwork by Takashi Murakami. 

Funny thing; on my way to the gallery, I ended up on the same cart and train as her lol! She sat across from me and I didn't even notice!


The artwork was very beautiful and colorful. There were so many miniscule details on each piece that there was no empty spaces.




(I shouldn't have taken these at an angle but I felt really awkward to take photos because there were so many security guards watching us like hawks as if we're gonna steal the artwork :/ )

The gallery was fairly small but it was a sight to see! Taking photos was so frustrating because there were so many rules: don't get too close to the artwork, don't step across the taped line, no flash. I understand the reason of the rules but still! Other than the guards, I had a pretty good time c:
